That exclusivity deal that Motorola signed with AT&T has now expired, so the Moto Maker customization suite for the Moto X have now been opened up for Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint customers. As an added incentive for you to jazz up your Moto X via Moto Maker, you can now pick up the new smartphone with Verizon for just $49.99.
The deal, which you can catch via the Moto Maker website directly, allows you to pick up the Moto X for half the regular $99.99 price that everyone else is paying for a customized smartphone. The sale runs through until November 18, so you’ve got a few more days to take advantage of the savings.
As you can probably guess, that $49.99 price point is obviously with a new qualifying two-year contract with Verizon. Given that the Moto X has been quite been selling as well as Motorola had hoped, it makes sense that they’d be willing to sacrifice $50 to get you on board. Then again, if you’re not a fan of contracts, waiting until January to get the dirt cheap Moto G off contract might be an even better deal.
Will Motorola offer the same half-price savings for T-Mobile and Sprint customers?
